How it works

Under-18s can only register in conjunction with an adult’s account. Adults are liable for the accounts of minors:

1. Register using your phone number in the nextbike app
2. Under payment methods, select the ‘Minors’ link
3. Enter the phone number of the nextbike account to be held liable (the account holder must be at least 18 years old)
4. A verification code will be sent to the phone number associated with this account
5. Enter this code in the linked account section of your account
6. Add a valid payment method. If the under-18 account goes into the red, the adult account is liable
